We, the undersigned, share the belief that nothing could be more inspiring to our people, or disheartening to our enemies, than Twin Towers, at least as tall as before in every respect, soaring above Ground Zero.

We believe that the devastation of September 11, 2001 clouded the picture long after the rubble was cleared away and that a thorough public examination of the rebuilding option is overdue and now required before proceeding on an unalterable course.

We recognize no financial or political roadblocks that cannot be overcome if rebuilding the Towers is the will of the people. And, we see no conflict between stunning Twin Towers and a noble Memorial, which belong together on this site that means so much to us all.

We submit that there is only one way to truly heal the skyline of Manhattan and the heart of America: Rebuild the Twin Towers. Doing anything less would leave a permanent scar on the face of New York and diminish a legendary city.

The towers of world trade center had always been an American symbol. I am Brazilian and here in Brazil all want the towers as it was before and I am certain that everybody also wants this. I do not know to say English, I used a translator to say these words, but valley imposes a fine on an effort it reconstructs this project of the towers therefore is what more it is come close to the americano symbol!

TTA Note: Since it was obviously important to him to leave this message, but the second part was so unclear, we wrote to ask if he would like to send us his comments in Portugese. As torres do World Trade Center sempre foram um símbolo americano. Eu sou brasileiro e aqui no Brasil todos querem as torres como eram antes e estou certo de que todas as pessoas também querem assim. Aquele dia…11 de setembro de 2001 um dia tão triste, tão trágico para tantas famílias, o mundo inteiro acompanhou pedindo a Deus que tudo acabasse bem. Mas New York sem as Torres Gêmeas Não é New York. Ainda não conheço NY mas pretendo visita-la ano que vem, sei que não encontrarei as torres lá, mas gostaria muito de saber que estão sendo reconstruídas outras torres iguais as anteriores. Eu vi o projeto atual da ‘torre da liberdade’ achei ‘’ridículo'’. Dou a maior força para que sejam reconstruídas as verdadeiras torres, pois elas sim são um ícone da historia, e se precisar assino mil vezes para que as Torres Gêmeas voltem.
