The NYC skyline is just not the same anymore..

It’s a puzzle with 2 pieces yet to be found, them pieces are the Twin Towers.

Lets get them back up there, doing America proud and showing the world that no matter what, we fight back and become bigger and better than ever

When you were young, made buildings with Lego or Sandcastles at the beach. Lets take sandcastles, you build two. Then somebody comes along and intentionally knocks them both down. Would you rebuild both or just one? Personally, I would rebuild both! One is like admitting defeat. But two, standing taller, signify power and pride. To summerize the above: Rebuild the Twin Towers!

First of all, I’m a citizen of other nation. Anyhow, I just want to support in rebuilding the TWIN towers in the WTC site- better, stronger, & taller! in this way we can remember the memories of the wounded hearts of the thousands of people killed/victims on that terrible day, also this is a bolder message to send terrorists that New York or the USA will NOT be defeated. “We can make things possible if we truly believe we can.” Restore the New York skyline to it’s previous beauty.

New York will never be the same without the Twin Towers. I was 12 yrs old when they went down. I always wanted to visit and stand in top of them but I never got the chance. It should be Rebuilt Better and Stronger so my dream to stand on them can become real. REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS!!! so New York will be New York again!!! NO Freedom Tower!!! it would be a disgrace if it is built!

I live in England and recently came back from an amazing trip to New York. It was really upsetting to see Ground Zero and I have always been interested in the 9/11 and what happened. The Freedom Tower looks quite nice, but it just wouldn’t be the same. In my opinion The Twin Towers II is the only choice! I hope this idea goes ahead, good luck!

It is incredible that 1 World Trade Centre is being allowed to proceed. It is a sure sign of defeat to Al Qaeda. For all of us across the world that were affected by this disaster the only possible way to stand up and prove our will against such appalling behaviour is to rebuild the Twin Towers and show the Manhatten skyline as we all knew it. It is the only fitting and appropriate way to honour all those that lost their lives by proving that we will not be defeated by extremists - rebuild both!

The Twin Towers was a wonderful construction destroyed by two airplanes pilot by terrorists 11-S, after these moment the world change and NY Without WTC1 and WTC2 is very different. The plan of Freedom Tower and other buildings different than Twin Towers isn’t appropiate to Ground Zero (isn’t representative such was old Twin Towers). The old Twin Towers were more than simple towers, were a NY, US , America and Worldwide Symbol, and must be reconstructed.

Rebuild them!!! Not rebuilding the twin towers would be a disgrace. Make New York New York again! Stand up against terrorism, show them they cannaot alter the skyline. Lets not give them the satisfaction. Rebuild in the honour of the famalies, the people and the heroic firefighters who died that day. I believe that replacing the old towers as opposed to going with the current watered down and non-inspiring project would be a great tribute to the families involved with this tragedy, would replace one of New York’s iconic landmarks and also show the resilience and strength of this city and the nation as a whole.

TTA Note: Thank you… If people had any idea that there is a movement and a real plan we surely would have hundreds of thousands of signatures — but then we wouldn’t need a petition… If people knew that there is a viable Twin Towers option, it would be all over for that tower that is such a glaring symbol of tyranny, not freedom. And they will know — it is our constant aim. It really is just a matter of time…

I love the twin towers. On september 11th my mom came home from work. And saw me crying she turned on the T.V and was stunned.It was 11:00 a.m. witch meant the towers were already down. I was 5 when they came down. Now I am 12 about to turn 13. I have researched alot about twin towers. Watched videos. And even made tributes. But i still cant get that sicking feeling out of my heart. Only way to get it out is to rebuild the twin towers. 65ft higher so they are tallest buildings in the world again

The idea of building this monstrosity that is called the Freedom Tower, and not either the original or proposed World Trade Center 2 towers is a heinous crime not only to New York, but to the rest of the world. Even though originally they were built just as any other commercial building, and belonged to the financial market, over the years it belonged to the people becoming as iconic as the Statue Of Liberty, even more so now. Please, listen to the people, rebuild the icons not the lifeless proposed plans.

Good luck in your just fight, I’m hoping, wishing, and praying that you succeed for all of us.

TTA Note: Actually, they were the only commercial structures we know of that were NOT “built just as any other commercial building,” but were dedicated to fostering world peace through world trade from their inception — quite an extraordinary pedigree and distinction worthy of being defended and upheld.

If a natural monument, feature or landmark was destroyed then we could only remember how it was but here is an opportunity to rebuild something that was manmade to start with, and with better technology and safety measures. The Freedom Tower just looks a ghastly and the fact that it has been plagued by controversy is a bad omen.

I was only 10 years and I’m from the Middle East, now I remember the scene very frightening
I was child, but there is something in my heart told me that this is something bad and dangerous
Now I am 18 years old and very sad because of what happened
It was a normal working day suddenly turned into a disaster
In the eighth anniversary heard in the news that there is still Ground Zero as it is not the project ends
Discussed in the Internet and knew everything about design
And I chose to rebuild the Twin Towers
It’s the best building in the world and I think that this is also what made terrorists destroy it
But do not anyone will be able to destroy life in the heart of New York City
So I found it my duty to join with you and encourage you
I’m with the Twin Towers
But we will be to see the twins towers again rise in the skies of New York high and lofty say to every terrorist
I’m back again will not be able any person to collapse me

I was only young when the twin towers fell. I now at 13 years old look at the sky line of new york and feel there is something missing from what was a beatiful sky line. I enjoy watching the programme ‘friends’ just to see if I can spot the twin towers in it, i am obsessed with them. they should be rebuilt.For my birthday someone bought me a picture of the sky line and i could not look at it so i told my dad to take it back to the shop. please rebuild them make america america again.
