It's Not Too Late!

We, the undersigned, share the belief that nothing could be more inspiring to our people, or disheartening to our enemies, than Twin Towers, at least as tall as before in every respect, soaring above Ground Zero.

We believe that the devastation of September 11, 2001 clouded the picture long after the rubble was cleared away and that a thorough public examination of the rebuilding option is overdue and now required before proceeding on an unalterable course.

We recognize no financial or political roadblocks that cannot be overcome if rebuilding the Towers is the will of the people. And, we see no conflict between stunning Twin Towers and a noble Memorial, which belong together on this site that means so much to us all.

We submit that there is only one way to truly heal the skyline of Manhattan and the heart of America: Rebuild the Twin Towers. Doing anything less would leave a permanent scar on the face of New York and diminish a legendary city.

Rebuild the Twin Towers, and Defend Them.
What better tribute to all whom were murdered and perished there, and in the Shanksville field, and at the Pentagon, on that fateful day.

    Please rebuild the towers.

Nothing can bring back all who were lost nor the towers that fell on 9/11. It’s time to raise a sign of hope to the USA and let the world know that we as a people are still strong and will never give up.

I think they should be rebuilt the same way.

I’ve lived in south Mississippi all my life, but fell in love with the WTC when I saw King Kong as a child. I began learning about all of the engineering innovation that went into the construction of this amazing piece of American architecture. I had always planned to visit Manhattan one day specifically to go to the top of the World Trade Center. This plan would be the next best thing, not that Freedom Tower BS! Kudos to you guys, I hope all goes well. Looking forward to visiting!

As a former NJ resident, I watched from my bedroom window as the towers were built, gazed at them from my college dorm and saw them fall from the office building I worked at. I had to move away. It made me sick to see them gone.

Please rebuild the Twin Towers. They are a symbol of peace and hope and without them, all is lost. We cannot let them win. We have to stand up for whats right and we need to build bigger, taller, and stronger towers. We must.

  • signature permalink Erik Arnone

Please rebuild the Twin Towers! Doing this would show the rest of the world that we can overcome even the darkest of times and it would also demonstrate America’s bravery and ability to stand as a united nation.

  • signature permalink Max Lipton

It’s because the Freedom Tower sucks.
And I never got to visit the towers in person.

  • signature permalink Corey Longmire

please rebuild the wtc both towers better and even taller than they were. i believe it would be a great step to healing the wound the 9/11 has caused. i hate the Freedom Tower it so ugly and it only one tower on top of that. yuck. I love the Twin Towers it was great symbol of my nation.

It is my ardent wish to see these 2 towers rebuilt to show the damned bastards that were in on this assault to the American psyche.

we have to rebuild the twin towers because america isnt america without them

i think that the wtc should be rebuilt to show america’s strength and that we refuse to change for alquida and to support the survivors and victims families… how could we forget with them there agian

  • signature permalink James Meyers *

I think that as long as the survivors from the wtc and victoms families are in agreement that they should rebuild in honor of all that suffered and died that day, then its the job of new york city, its officials, and the federal goverment to make it a reality. Secondly, as an american citizen we should send a message to Bin lodin and Alquida that evil never wins. GOD BLESS AMERICA, AND THOSE APPOINTED OVER US. AND GOD BLESS NEW YORK.

we definitly need to rebuild and restore the memorys of those who died in the 9/11 attack. we should also build to prove to the world that america wont just lay down and lose.

  • signature permalink William Smith

Raising the towers anew, strengthened and proud before the world, is the ultimate expression and proof of American heart, resilience and rejection of surrender to evil.

I cannot think of a more important symbolic collective endeavor as a country than to rebuild the Twin Towers. The void we’re experiencing in our morale, dignity as well as the pain in our hearts will not have a chance to repair if they are not rebuilt. It is the only way. Let’s stop speaking of the great things our country has acheived in the past and show ourselves and our children what is still possible. To keep liberty a reality and not just a word - it takes courage and work.

As a former resident of New York City and a practicing attorney in Florida I want the Twin Towers (or some variation of two towers - modernized) to be built at the site. Don’t build something different, tell the terrorists if you knock it down (we’ll hunt you down), and rebuild anything that you touch. It would be much more a memorial to those who died to rebuild the towers as opposed to building something different.

New York is not New York without the Twin Towers. Evil took away the originals. Hope and faith and good old-fashioned American ingenuity, perseverance & gumption will re-build them to their former glory. Bring back the Twin Towers!

California love goes out to you all!

I want the Twin Towers back. I’ll admit, I was in second grade at the time of 9/11 and I didn’t even know what the buildings meant to the world. But now I do know and I know NYC needs those buildings back, not a gay building that doesn’t show Freedom it shows Fear. I went to NYC July 2008 and seeing a hole in the ground that should be the WTC being rebuilt made me mad so I hope those buildings are rebuilt because they should not be replaced by a building that no one will want to look at!

I Support The Right WTC not the so called “Freedom Tower”

  • signature permalink John Henry *

Rebuilding the twin towers is the only logical thing to do at this moment, plain and simple. The Freedom Tower is an absolute mockery. It’s dull and disgusting. The archietects working on The Freedom Tower have their heads up their asses.

I support this 100%. Rebuild the Twin Towers!

I support the original World Trade Center

Rebuild the TWIN TOWERS, we need to show the world we will stand up to anything!

  • signature permalink Mike Rollinson *

The twin towers must be rebuilt, the freedom tower is a horrible idea. Why not rebuild them??That only shows we have accepted defeat. Rebuild the towers and show that we are strong and that we can rebound from an attack like that. Make the skyline look like the New York skyline again.

The world trade center was a symbol of the economic and social freedom for which our nation has fought. The towers were bold and iconic. If it be the will of those whose loved ones perished there on that horrible day, I would like to see the towers improved, strengthened, and rebuilt. No other gesture will restore the faith and freedom of our great country quite like this one. It says to the world that violence will not change the fabric of who we are. We do not fear. We prevail.

NY just hasnt been the same since 9/11, rebuild the twin towers and make new york new york again

  • signature permalink Brian McKenna

I had no idea that this plan existed until today. I grew up in NJ in the shadow of the towers and think this is the way to go! We need to restore the sky-line and remember what happened! This does both! Why is this so hard? It seems like a no-brainer. Lets get this done before it is too late!

  • signature permalink Ronald Redeaux

you are right! The twin towers should be rebuilt to show that America can rebuild itself no matter what the damage is! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!! -Ron from chino hills

  • signature permalink Raymond Manley

Great idea. What better way to show the terroists than to rebuild the twin towers.

  • signature permalink James Boroznoff

I believe that we should rebuild the twin towers. There is no doubt that the victims of Sept 11 loved working in the twin towers. I think that they would want us to rebuild (contrary to what some people believe). However, the only true “memorial” for Sept 11, would be the twin towers rebuilt.

  • signature permalink Gail Newsome

My son, who is 6 years old, understands the importance of rebuilding the Twin Towers as they stood or better. He wants to visit them, and show “the bad guys” that they “can’t beat the American Team”. I would like to see him have the opportunity to make that trip.

All of the United States of America want to see the rebuild of the twin towers thats what we need we need to prove to the terrorists that they can not destroy the USA cause were standing tall most ppl are saying were giving up im not giving up if you give you lost a battle im proud to be american and we need alot of ppl to stand tall i know its hard but we have to stand tall to have the towers rebuild

I really would enjoy seeing the Lower Manhattan skyline restored with the original two towers that everyone remembers. It shows a sign of courage and bravery that we all made it through the years and will continue to remember all those that risked their lives in saving others.

When I thought of the saying “United We Stand, Divided We Fall,” the Twin Towers came into my mind. Two towers standing for one purpose, yet they were divided. I never got to see them in person, and these could be so much sturdier and stronger than the glass sculpture (that’s what it looks like) that they call Freedom Tower. By not rebuilding those two towers, in my opinion, that saying above has no symbol.

Please rebuild the original twin towers design(maybe sturdier)–nothing else will be adequate to tell our enemies that we will never ever give up. If they take it out again we’ll build it again and again forever. Surrender is not an option now or ever.

  • signature permalink Lance Taylor

Rebuild Now! Put the bureaucracy to rest! What a more fitting tribute to those who lost their lives, their families and this country than to have the Twin Towers II open on September 11, 2011? I can not think of any.

  • signature permalink Toby Smith

Every time I see a movie with scenes of the twin towers and every time I see a picture of New York post the destruction of the twin towers, I am reminded at what is missing in the New York skyline. The towers need to be rebuilt to help heal this nation. Anything else will only serve as a reminder of what’s missing.

I was born and raised in New York. The Twin Towers and the Statue of Liberty have always stood for unity and love of my country! Let the towers rise as a phoneix from the ashes!! Excellent, Excellent idea!!
