It's Not Too Late!

We, the undersigned, share the belief that nothing could be more inspiring to our people, or disheartening to our enemies, than Twin Towers, at least as tall as before in every respect, soaring above Ground Zero.

We believe that the devastation of September 11, 2001 clouded the picture long after the rubble was cleared away and that a thorough public examination of the rebuilding option is overdue and now required before proceeding on an unalterable course.

We recognize no financial or political roadblocks that cannot be overcome if rebuilding the Towers is the will of the people. And, we see no conflict between stunning Twin Towers and a noble Memorial, which belong together on this site that means so much to us all.

We submit that there is only one way to truly heal the skyline of Manhattan and the heart of America: Rebuild the Twin Towers. Doing anything less would leave a permanent scar on the face of New York and diminish a legendary city.

The world trade centers have become a patriotic symbol of pride, hope, and power. If we don’t speak up now to rebuild them, and we stay silent, they will be gone forever and it will be too late. I say we build them both back up even higher as a big middle finger to Osama and his crotch bombers, and to restore manhattan to what it was on September 10th 2001.

As a veteran, I am one AMERICAN who will never forget 911. My outrage is still palpable. The dismissive attitude of Obama and his administration of Marxists is unforgivable!!

TTA Note: One thing that stands out loud and clear when it comes to the World Trade Center is that the right-wing politicians and left-wing politicians are equally disinterested in what the people think or want. All they seem to care about is how to consolidate their own power. As noted below, this petition is not a bulletin board. We will not sanitize controversial remarks if the comments are primarily in support of the petition’s purpose. But off-topic remarks are subject to removal on a case-by-case basis to keep the focus where it belongs.

We will show people like Osama bin laden that we will rise from the ashes of September 11 stronger than before!

9 yrs ago we were attacked by cold blooded mass murderers w/no regard for people, the world or God representing the worst of humanity. Some are afraid to rebuild it as it was out of fear. If we let this happen the enemy wins! The WTC was incredibly striking by its sheer size! Only in New York could it have worked so perfectly. It’s a symbol, one that MUST be restored to its previous glory. What happened to the commitment to rebuild quickly? Stop debating, thinking & GET IT DONE NOW & as the WTC!

I would love to see our nation put back up what we lost by terrorists, what i think is sad is how people died working. :(

Yes! Bring back the Twin Towers! This will help the U.S.A. feel at home. With out them I feel like something is missing. I never got to see the Twin Towers in person before. This would be a great chance to see them!

Rebuild them it is the right and only thing to do.

Hello America,On 9/11 our amazing country and the people and buindings which we love so much and truly miss were attacked by evil cowereds. I believe I speak for most that the Twin Towers were not just buildings where business was done. They represented everything America stands for which is strength, rising above anything that is bad and standing side by side together with pride. We where hit hard on that day but we we sure the hell where not broken and non-rebuildiable. Love You all God Bless!!!

9/11 is a is a huge disaster in American history, my grandmother was on the twins towers. (25/06/2001). I’m not from America, but I know what symbol are twins for America.I think that the relatives of the witness would reather see re-built twin towers as an urban skyscrape.

    R.I.P. all victims in 9.11.

I went to NYC before 9/11 but I don’t think I’ll ever go again if the Towers aren’t rebuilt. It’s Paris without the Eiffel Tower: not Paris. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if what they were building instead wasn’t horrible, but… it is and will just ruin the skyline. I’d rather them leave it a gaping hole than build the “Freedom Tower.”

Rebuild the Twin Towers. That farce of Freedom/One World Trade Center is not what the public wants. New York skyline will NEVER be the same without those iconic twins in the sky.

Please rebuild the Twin Towers. They were a symbol of America’s prosperity and uniqueness. They were a symbol to the world of our status and national pride. There is no better memorial and testiment to the brave souls lost there than to rebuild the towers.

Please rebuild so Twin Towers II are the only thing that can be seen from the new Cordoba mosque!

i hope to see the towers rebuilt because i want to be able to look up and smile not look up and see nothing rebuilding them may not change what happened but it helps heal the wounds

  • signature permalink Jason Thompson

I hope to see the towers rebuilt, and if so rebuilt in my lifetime.

I am 16 years old at the time I sign this petition. I was 8 when the terrorists knocked down our buildings, killed almost 3000 Americans, and tried to bring us to our knees. It is great that we are pushing them back, defeating and dispersing them, however, the damage done to America’s being has not been fixed. The scar will always remain, but we must heal the wound. To heal that wound, we must rebuild the Twin Towers.

Although I’m only 12 years old, I think that the World Trade Center Twin Towers must be rebuilt to help make America what it’s supposed to be. The Twin Towers play an emotional part in my life. I never go a day without thinking about them. I’m hoping one day i won’t have to remember them in sadness. Instead I’ll remember the great time I had visiting them (which I hope will come soon). Those beautiful towers standing in lower Manhattan rising above NYC were just amazing. With the Freedom Tower in their place, America is not what it’s supposed to be. With the memorial to all those who died on 9/11 and the remains of the original north tower facade, the Twin Towers are the only right answer. Rebuild the Twin Towers!

I think we should rebuild the towers but in a unique way. They can’t take it away from us.

  • signature permalink Jodi Allen

Rebuilding shows recovery, resilience, and strength. It shows we won’t be knocked down. We are America. Knock us down and we are going to brush ourselves off and stand right back up to you. It is symbolic. We can’t let them win by showing we are so damaged we can’t recover in some way. In addition to that all those that sacrificed their lives should have a legacy, a landmark, and a memorial. It should be rebuilt bigger and better with a memorial for the fallen.

  • signature permalink Tracy Armentano

They should be rebuilt the exact same way just one floor higher. The terrorists need to know you may have gotten to us but we have and will continue to be stronger than ever.

  • signature permalink Alissa Cannon *

Our country needs to show the rest of the world we can get through this kind of tragedy as strong as before. Rebuild.

  • signature permalink Bill Sanislo

I think it’s absurd that the Twin Towers are not being rebuilt in their original glory. The concept of the “Freedom Tower”, while admirable, is a concession at best and possibly criminal at its worst.

For God’s sake — we are Americans!!!! You may knock us down, but we’ll rise up again, stronger than ever.

    Rebuild the Twin Towers!

Although I was 5 years old when this happened and even though I live o the other side of the country I want the towers rebuilt!!!! I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN, WHO WILL ONE DAY BE LIVING IN NEW YORK I WANT TO SEE THE TOWERS THERE STRONGER AND TALLER THAN BEFORE!!!!! When I went to NY last spring what I saw was horrible!! a pile of dirt and a structure of 6 floors being built of the new hidious freedom tower. “WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES…” not “WE THE POLITICIANS WHO DECIDE EVERYTHING.”

  • signature permalink Chris Arceneaux

If the Twin Towers are not rebuilt then the Terrorists have won! The Governor of NY and the Mayor of NYC must be receiving a lot of bribe money to stick with the trashy looking Freedom Tower design because they sure are not listening to the American people!

  • signature permalink Mark Williams

Rebuild the Twin Towers!!!! those freedom towers do not resemble freedom they resemble ugliness lets all vote the Freedom Towers gone and Vote the Twin Towers II Under construction….The Freedom Tower and the other buildings are ugly when the Twin Towers II are the original design and pretty to lower manhattan…WE ALL WANT THE TWIN TOWERS II LISTEN TO AMERICA LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE!!!

  • signature permalink Tavish Yamraj

I’m from New York, and I was only 6 when the towers collapsed, back then, I didn’t know how bad that day really was. Now, I know how bad it really was, and I would like those towers to be rebuilt. Even though the other design is still going to rebuild the World Trade Center, the Twin Towers won’t be with that new design. I personally think America won’t be the same without those towers, so I, and many other Americans, hope that the Twin Towers will be rebuilt like the way it should be.

  • signature permalink Matt Stone

Our enemies committed a dastardly act to deny America of our beloved Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. It is unconscionable to concede this denial by replacing our towers with lesser structures to hope to appease the terrorists.

We MUST rebuild our towers…not with mere duplicates of the original, but with twin towers that SURPASS the originals in size and stature, based on the original design, to demonstrate that AMERICANS WILL NOT BE DENIED!

  • signature permalink Lisa Andrews *

The towers need to be back where they belong. Rebuilding should be the only option.

  • signature permalink Mark Mirabella

Ever since that tragic day I hoped and prayed that the towers would be rebuilt, in my opinion it’s the best way to honor those who were taken from us. The reconstruction would not just rebuild the towers but more importantly make our great country whole once again.
