This image was the original Twin Towers Alliance site intro. The statement is at least as true now as it was nine and a half years ago. In 2002, a man who lost his wife on 9/11 wrote to officials during the sham public comment period: Just as I want my wife back, people want their towers back. The main difference is the latter is possible, the former, not… That’s what they want. Don’t let today’s fears control tomorrow’s dreams. What is going on at Ground Zero only makes sense, if you factor out the people. And it makes no sense at all, if you factor the people in. It couldn’t have gotten anywhere if the people had been informed of the facts. And it would quickly be corrected if they were informed now. Osama bin Laden is gone but his love of mocking the United States as a fraud lives on. If the events he set in motion reveal that in the United States of America the people don’t matter, what does that say about us? America is above all an ideal. Which ultimately means that we are only safe if we are true. What you do speaks so loud that I cannot hear what you say. — Ralph Waldo Emerson |
