The Twin Towers Alliance Petition The statement below rings as true in 2011 as it did in 2006. The thousands of comments that have been left over the years are just the tip of an iceberg. The question for those who consider adding their names to the petition is not will new state-of-the-art Twin Towers be built, which no one knows, but should new Twin Towers be built, with which most of us have always agreed. We, the undersigned, share the belief that nothing could be more inspiring to our people, or disheartening to our enemies, than Twin Towers, at least as tall as before in every respect, soaring above Ground Zero. We believe that the devastation of September 11, 2001 clouded the picture long after the rubble was cleared away and that a thorough public examination of the rebuilding option is overdue and now required before proceeding on an unalterable course. We recognize no financial or political roadblocks that cannot be overcome if rebuilding the Towers is the will of the people. And, we see no conflict between stunning Twin Towers and a noble Memorial, which belong together on this site that means so much to us all. We submit that there is only one way to truly heal the skyline of Manhattan and the heart of America: Rebuild the Twin Towers. Doing anything less would leave a permanent scar on the face of New York and diminish a legendary city.

My father was not an NYC policeman, but for 20 years he was a cop in Mount Vernon and Elmsford, in Westchester, NY. He was a first responder on 9/11 and stayed down at Ground Zero for four days, patrolling security around the area to make sure everyone stayed away from the then hazardous and still burning debris. He is a true hero in my mind and this plan for new Twin Towers is what everyone wants, and hopefully we can get this plan passed to “Make NY, NY Again” as I remember being one of your slogans.
Good luck, and God Bless America.
This was my first and last reaction. When you get knocked down, you get up again. There’s a mainstream song to that effect and would be a good theme for this movement.
Although i dont remember seeing the towers, it is very touching to me when i speak upon them. Im a junior in high school and all i could think about is the twin towers. New York needs the twin towers back again. i cant stress it enough. i just imagine myself driving on the highway and seeing that beautiful NYC skyline and the World Trade Center in the distance. New York City is the best city in the world and the city of dreams. So please can you make my dream become a reality?
Look forward to going up in them again:)

A tragedy can be viewed as great strength. When we turn around and rebuild the skyline with what was meant to be in a greater way. It will be viewed as a constant reminder that we should strive to be stronger and better always. Our New York residents and their families suffered a loss insurmountable to the emotions that run deep in their hearts.
Lets make “The New Towers” a symbol for “The Heart of our country”
It was sad watching the twin towers collapse in front of thousands of faces viewing in person. But hopefully, the bigger & better Twin Towers will not fall dead like the tragedy of 911. So I hope The World Trade Center will rise once more. Thank you for reading this important message on the 911.
911 was very sad, and hopefully the twin towers will be re-built. ;]
